The Best donuts ever!!! The line outside speaks for itself. This place is on my "Must Have" list while I'm on the island! The earlier the better if you want to beat the crowds.

Take a boat ride from the bay side to the gulf side. Sight-see from the air! Touch your toes down in the warm waters of the gulf before heading back to the dock. Right beside Bridge Tender.

Traveler advice
Getting around
Anna Maria Trolley, Golf cart
The trolley runs everyday, until 10:00PM. The route takes you the whole distance of the island. During season (January - May) traffic picks up and makes traveling by trolley time consuming but convenient if you don't want to fight for parking.
Golf Carts are a fun way to get around the island if you want to try different transportation.
Watch out for tourists crossing the street!!! Unfortunately the cross walks are not always used and they forget that drivers may be distracted by the beautiful scenery.
Customs and culture
USE THE CROSSWALKS, & WATCH OUT FOR PEDESTRIANS
When driving on the island, be on the lookout for tourists crossing Gulf Drive to get to the beach. They don't always use the crosswalks and think you'll stop (even if you don't see them). The roads are very dark at night and make it very hard to see people crossing the roads.
The good news, our house is on the "right side" of the road so you won't need to cross Gulf Drive to get to the beach.
